8月16日，自治区第五次全国经济普查领导小组第一次会议暨单位清查启动仪式在呼和浩特举行。巴彦淖尔市委副书记、市长王志平出席巴彦淖尔分会场启动仪式，并宣布巴彦淖尔市第五次全国经济普查单位清查全面启动。

启动仪式结束后，市经普办各包联组分赴旗县区开展单位清查实地业务指导，通过“一对一”讲解、“面对面”培训、“手把手”指导的方式，确保清查工作有序稳步推进。各旗县区经普办实地入户开展单位清查工作，了解经营情况，并向普查对象和在场群众宣传普查政策。
