经国务院批准，自2008年9月1日起，对部分乘用车进口环节消费税进行调整，现将有关事项通知如下：
一、将气缸容量（排气量，下同）1.0升以下（含1.0升）的乘用车进口环节消费税税率由3%下调至1%；
二、将气缸容量3.0升以上（不含3.0升）至4.0升（含4.0升）的乘用车进口环节消费税税率由15%上调至25%；
三、将气缸容量4.0升以上的乘用车进口环节消费税税率由20%上调至40%.
