活动中，大家一起学习重温了中国共产党波澜壮阔、筚路蓝缕的百年征程。市局党委书记、局长李东作为主讲人，和四位青年朗读者一起，与大家一起现场品读分享了《赵一曼：写给不知所踪的宁儿》《夏明翰：狱中与妻书》《陈觉、赵云霄：革命夫妻的绝笔家书》等三封革命烈士的红色家书，深入讲述了家书背后的革命先烈与红色历史，带领大家透过这些红色家书，走进革命先烈的内心世界，深刻领会共产党人的初心和使命，深刻感悟革命先烈为国家和民族作出的伟大贡献。

随后，李东局长代表市局党委向市局机关7位青年理论学习小组代表赠送红色书籍，勉励青年干部读书学史、崇德力行、争当表率，将红色基因不断传承和发扬下去。

党课过程中还开展了“微语寄深情、祝福献给党”活动，大家在心形贴纸上写下对中国共产党百岁生日的真挚祝福并贴在祝福墙上，共同向党的百年华诞致敬。
